Let's see.  Yesterday I got up at 4:40 a.m. to go do some service at the church farm out in Queen Creek.  It was fun.  I got 3 big blisters, and my back is sore. I just saw the most amazing story.  Apparently there was a man who was living in Nagasaki and just happened to be visiting Hiroshima the day the first atomic bomb was dropped.  Three days later he was back home in Nagasaki when the second bomb destroyed that city.  Unbelievably, he just recently passed away at the ripe old age of 93.

Wow.

About a minute ago I finished reading The Chosen by Chaim (pronounced Hhhime, with a little bit of phlegm) Potok.  It was a truly remarkable and amazing book.  I would have to say that it has to rank as one of my all-time favorite books.  I really loved it.  The ending was so thick and juicy with pathos.  I really can't say enough about how much I enjoyed reading it.

Well, I have to admit that I liked this book more than I thought I would.  The story was really good.  I liked the overall idea.  But, I still think that Dickens is massively overrated.
